I came here to eat once with my late step mom, Carol. She took me to eat here one day that I went with her on an errand. When I think back I feel so honored that she chose such a wonderful place to take me to eat lunch that day. We had an herb butter and bread that I've never found anywhere else since. We also ate the potato soup which was out of this world. The blend of potato, cheese, the cream they used in the soup and bacon were just perfect. I would love to have that recipe. I really loved my step mom and I will never forget this place, if I ever return to Va. again I hope I can take my family to this homey-down to earth atmosphere and enjoy a great meal with them.
